About Facing Fear Anonymous
The purpose of Facing Fear Anonymous is to provide a 12-Step Recovery program to help people suffering from excessive and sometimes debilitating fear to recover from their excessive fear by working a program using the FFA Steps, Traditions and Tools. We are a fellowship of individuals from all walks of life who meet in order to help solve a common problem - - excessive fear, which includes anxiety, worry, phobias and agoraphobia. Here we share our experience, strength and hope with others who are recovering from fear in its many manifestations. Membership is open to all who share a desire to learn ways to recover from their fears in fellowship with others who share similar problems with fear. There is no other requirement. Our common goals are to become physically, mentally and spiritually fit; to break free of our isolation and sense of shame at our own limitations. In our fellowship, we will support each other in facing our fears exemplifying our primary purpose which is to help ourselves and others achieve freedom from our fears. We are not affiliated with any other 12-Step Recovery Programs nor are we a part of any other organization. We do not support, endorse, or oppose outside causes or issues. FFA is not affiliated with any religion, creed, or dogma. FFA is supported through voluntary contributions from members. We have no dues or fees. FFA is a spiritual program based on the principles and traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. We are truly grateful to AA for this foundation which makes our recovery possible. We believe that by working the FFA Program, we who suffer from so much fear will come to experience happiness, peace and freedom from our fears. All are welcome who feel they have an issue with fear! |
